Construction Labourer / Trainee Concrete Cutting Operator

Looking for a hands-on construction role where you can learn a specialised trade and build a long-term career?

Complete Concrete Cutting is a locally owned Sunshine Coast business looking for a reliable and hardworking person to join our small, supportive team.

You do not need concrete cutting experience. If you have at least 12 months’ construction experience, a good attitude and are willing to learn, we will provide the training you need.

About the Role

You will initially work alongside experienced operators, learning how to safely use specialised concrete cutting and drilling equipment. As your skills develop, you will progress toward operating independently on construction projects across the Sunshine Coast and surrounding areas.

Your duties will include:

• Assisting with concrete cutting, drilling and sawing

• Learning to operate specialised equipment

• Setting up and cleaning work areas

• Maintaining company vehicles, tools and equipment

• Completing required training and safety documentation

• Following company procedures and WHS requirements

This is a physical, hands-on position involving early starts and varied construction sites.

You will suit this role if you:

• Have at least 12 months’ construction experience

• Are reliable, punctual and physically fit

• Enjoy practical, hands-on work

• Have good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

• Take pride in looking after vehicles and equipment

• Can work independently and as part of a team

• Want to learn specialised skills and build a long-term career

Essential Requirements

• QLD White Card

• Current manual driver’s licence

• At least 12 months’ construction experience

• Ability to complete required fit testing and health monitoring

An HR licence would be advantageous but is not essential.
