MC Truck Driver

Bear Claw, a leading civil and concreting contractor based in Darwin, is seeking experienced MC Truck Driver for ongoing works in Darwin / RAAF Base Tindal, Katherine NT.

About the role

You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of freight across the Northern Territory and, where required, to remote and FIFO locations. Opportunities include local Darwin-based MC driving, FIFO and remote work opportunities, this includes works on RAAF Base Tindal with our Civil crew, long-distance and regional transport, and various rosters available depending on project requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Safe and efficient transportation of freight across the Northern Territory

• Local Darwin-based MC driving

• Long-distance and regional transport

• Work on FIFO and remote locations as required

About you

• Current MC (Multi Combination) licence

• Proven MC driving experience

• Excellent driving and safety record

• Strong commitment to fatigue management and chain of responsibility

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good communication and time-management skills

• Reliability and a strong work ethic

• Ability to pass required medical, drug and alcohol screening
