Position Details: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at Olympic Dam. The roster includes 9/5 on a FIFO or DIDO basis. In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of electrical and communications infrastructure projects across underground and surface mining operations. This role requires presence at project site and the ability to effectively lead project teams to deliver project safely, efficiently and to a high quality standard.
Key Responsibilities: - Strong understanding of statutory compliance and electrical safety requirements
- Manage the delivery of multiple projects across core business activities
- Manage project budgets, forecasting, resourcing and commercial performance
- Coordinate labour and equipment resources, procurement and project logistics
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers and key stakeholders
- Deliver projects safely, on schedule and in accordance with contractual requirements
Skills & Qualifications: - Electrical or communications trade qualification
- Project Management qualification; Diploma or equivalent
- Current Drivers Licence
- Leadership and project management experience within electrical, communications or construction projects
- Experience managing project budget, schedules, cost control and reporting
- A strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Ability to manage priorities and work effectively to project deadlines
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
