The Role
Casual Plant Operator / Truck Driver

Stabilfix Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Operator/Truck Driver to join our team working across various sites in NSW. A willingness and capacity to travel and be away from home, at times on a weekly basis, dependant on site location.

What you'll be doing

• Safely operating Caterpillar RM500 and Wirtgen Soil Stabilisers and Lime Spreader Truck

• Driving trucks to transport equipment, and personnel to and from job sites

• Conduct pre-starts and routine maintenance and inspections on assigned vehicles and machinery

• Complying with all safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe work environment

• Collaborating with the construction team to identify and address any operational issues

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a plant operator and truck driver in the construction industry

• Valid Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's licence (minimum) and a current White Card for the operation of relevant plant equipment

• Strong mechanical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and maintain equipment

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with the construction crew

• Strong commitment to safe work practices, productivity and quality workmanship

Benefits:

• $42.50 per hour, plus superannuation

• Travel, Accommodation and meals provided and paid for (when working away more than 90 minutes from home)
