At The Centre for Women & Co. and Men & Co. Services we work to support individuals, children and families towards physical and emotional safety through Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence support and health and wellbeing counselling. We work from an evidence-based, trauma-informed and reflective practice framework.
The Role
The High Risk Team (HRT) Case Manager & First Nations Cultural Practice Advisor is dual role within a Domestic & Family Violence specialist team. This role is responsible for providing services directly to victim-survivors experiencing Domestic and/or Family Violence, along with providing a specialist cultural lens for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples engaged with our team.
The First Nations Cultural Practice Advisor provides a cultural lens and champions First Nations voices within the HRT meeting on a weekly basis. This role is integral to ensuring that First Nations clients are appropriately supported within a multi-agency response. This role also supports other team members and HRT core members to ensure that our practice remains culturally safe.
As the HRT Case Manager, this role directly responds to HRT clients who are in crisis, providing immediate support to clients requiring risk assessment, safety intervention and planning as well as urgent referrals and supportive monitoring and follow up. You will work collaboratively with team members, HRT core members and other organisations to develop appropriate and innovative responses to prevent DFV within the Logan and/or Redlands community.
This role is an Identified position and requires applicants to have a demonstrated understanding of the issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, along with proven ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities.

Please note, roles above a SCHADS Level 4.1 require completed or working towards tertiary qualifications at a bachelors/undergraduate level or higher. Roles above a SCHADS Level 5.1 require completed tertiary qualifications at a bachelors/undergraduate level or higher.
Potential Start Dates
This role is available to start on:
15th June 2026
We have set start dates for new team members so that they can undertake our supportive induction process with our Practice and Development Lead. This process allows new team members to have set time to learn more about our organisation, our practice frameworks and set up all equipment and logins.
