What you’ll be doing in this role
You’ll join our supportive team, working closely with the Health Fund Relationship Manager and Health Fund Auditor to ensure health fund audits are completed accurately, efficiently and in line with contractual requirements.
You will be involved in the end-to-end process of responding to health fund queries, reviewing patient progress notes and procedural reports to investigate queries, and reviewing billing accuracy, repayments and clinical variation penalties.
You’ll support the management and monitoring of audit compliance, analyse audit data in Excel, including using pivot tables to identify trends and insights, prepare reports and statistics, provide advice to clinical and non-clinical teams, and identify opportunities to improve processes and minimise unnecessary financial recoveries for the hospital.
This is a part-time 0.6 FTE position, which can be worked across 3-5 days per week.
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive healthcare administration professional with strong analytical and communication skills.
You’ll ideally have:
A current or previous Registered Nurse with 2+ years’ experience (including non-practising nurses) may also be well suited to this role.
