ABOUT US:
The North Fitzroy Arms has welcomed guests to the back streets of North Fitzroy for 152 years, and to continue that tradition, we are in search of genuine hospitality professionals whom are kind, hard working, and passionate about the Hotel's new direction.
 
ABOUT THIS ROLE:
This role is accompanied by the support and leadership of our motivated Head Chef, with their finger on the pulse of the hospitality scene. You will have the opportunity to contribute to a great dining experience, and develop your professional culinary career as part of a growing team.
 
Position Requirements:
• Work alongside and take direction from the Head Chef
• Assist in all aspects of food preparation
• Keep up in a fast paced kitchen
• Maintain a high quality of work during busy service periods, including cooking and preparing food in a consistent manner
• Understand and execute food safety standards
 
You will possess:
• Minimum 2 years experience in a busy kitchen with proficient knife skills.
• Professional verbal communication skills, including great rostering availability communication.
• Clean hygiene and presentation
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
