About the role
LEO & ASSOCIATES CONSULTING ENGINEERS PTY LTD is a trusted engineering consulting firm specialising in remedial, structural, and building-related services for the existing built environment. Our team of qualified engineers delivers tailored solutions for residential (strata), government, industrial, commercial, education, and healthcare projects.
As an Intermediate Remedial Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of projects, conducting inspections, preparation of engineering reports, developing repair scopes for rectification, and supporting clients through the entire project lifecycle. You'll collaborate with our national team and contribute to high-quality outcomes for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct on-site engineering inspections and assessments
Prepare technical reports, letters, and scope of works documentation
Develop specifications for remedial works
Provide contract administration and superintendency services during construction
Liaise with clients, strata managers, builders, and contractors
Collaborate with team members to deliver effective and timely project outcomes
About You
2-4 years of experience in remedial or structural engineering
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Strong technical understanding of building structures and materials
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines
Committed to high standards of client service
Able to work collaboratively in a team environment
Current Australian driver's licence
Desirable Skills
Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g. Tedds, SpaceGass, RAPT, or similar)
Experience with technical drawings and drafting software
Construction White Card
Completion of "Working Safely at Heights" (RIIWHS204E) certification
Familiarity with strata and remedial work in Victoria
