Jetter and Vacuum truck operator

We are in search of an experienced Jetter and Vacuum truck operator for an immediate start. This will be a full-time role for the ideal candidate.

Minimum 6-12 months experience as a Jetter and Vacuum truck operator is required for this position.

Required:
• Construction Induction (white card)
• HR Open Truck license
• Permanent resident status is required

Highly Desirable:

• VTI and Whale Hydrovac Experience

• Safe Access to Rail Corridor accreditation
• Rail Worker Industry Card
• Rail Safety Worker Card
• First aid certificate
• Confined spaces certificate

Tasks & Responsibilities:
• Complete vacuum excavation works, potholing and locating underground services
• Trenching
• Inspecting and cleaning drainage systems
• Inspect job site for any safety concerns or hazards including traffic management requirements
• Conduct daily prestart, ensuring that the plant and machinery is clean, safe and in good working condition at all times.
• Understand your Safety and PPE requirements
• Ability to complete relevant administrative tasks and documentation relevant to the job (training provided)
• Effective time management
• Ability to work extended hours as required
