About Us

hubMed is a clinician-led telehealth company delivering virtual care across chronic disease, sexual health, women's health, weight/metabolic health, smoking cessation, mental health, and regional/rural general care. We operate 9am–10pm AEST with a team of 30+ Nurse Practitioners. 

Pay structure  

We'd rather show you the numbers than make you guess.

Revenue-Share engagement initially

72.5% of consult billings  - Typically, $140–$160/hr equivalent. 

Other employment options available

Permanent Part-Time 

$80/hr + Super  - e.g. 3 days/wk ≈ $94k+super; 4 days/wk ≈ $126k+super 

Full-Time 

$80/hr + Super ≈ $158k+super at standard FT hours 

Casual 

$92/hr + Super - Loaded rate, no leave entitlements

• General health 

• Chronic disease management

• Mental health program — general mental health, addiction support, and ADHD (see below) 

• Medicinal Cannabis - for specific cohorts only

About the Role

Want to work in an area that's new to you? 

No experience in a clinical area isn't a barrier here. If you're interested in moving into any program we run, we support it with online onboarding, clinical shadowing. We also have clinical escalation support, plus specialist referral pathways for our main clinical areas — so you can grow your scope over time rather than being boxed into one area. 

We’re seeking ambitious, forward-thinking Nurse Practitioners (comfortable to see general health patients) who are passionate about addressing gaps in healthcare.

In addition to delivering high-quality virtual care, this role offers the opportunity to:

• contribute to the design and evolve care models

You’ll be working within an established, supportive environment — with the infrastructure, governance, and supportive team already in place — while still having room to build and grow.

Mental Health, Addiction & ADHD Program (Mental Health NPs only).

If you're a Mental Health NP, this is a dedicated program, not an add-on: general mental health care, addiction support, and ADHD assessment/management, backed by clinical protocols and team support built specifically for these areas. Complex or unclear cases have specialist referral pathways available, alongside clinical shadowing and escalation support during onboarding. 

We will need you to be open to skilling up into 1-2 additional programs i.e. weight loss, smoking cessation, cannabis etc.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual consultations with patients across Australia

• Diagnose, manage, and treat a range of acute and chronic health conditions

• Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests within scope

• Collaborate with other clinicians and escalate or refer to our specialists where appropriate

• Maintain high-quality, compliant clinical documentation

• Support regional and underserved communities through accessible care

• Dynamic healthcare professional who can adapt and enjoys new clinical areas.

• Current AHPRA registration as a Nurse Practitioner (or soon to be credentialed)

• Strong clinical reasoning and confidence working independently
