We have multiple part-time and full-time opportunities available for motivated and experienced registered and enrolled mental health nurses to join our night duty team. This role requires providing a high level of patient centred care in a new purpose built 58-bed mental health facility, working within a multi-disciplinary team.  

Essential criteria 

• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

• Ability to liaise with hospital staff / medical professionals regarding patient management

• Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills

• Experience working in a mental health setting

• Comprehensive computer literacy

• Work collaboratively and positively influence those around you

Desirable criteria:

• Mental health credentialing with ACMHN

• Demonstrated knowledge of Infection Control Principles and Protocols
