Senior Building Services Engineer (Sydney residents only)

Due to rapid growth in our boutique Chartered Surveying Consultancy, we're seeking an additional Senior Building Services Engineer to join our Sydney team undertaking professional instructions for our blue-chip client base.

We provide Property Consultancy services to Australasian property investors, owners, financiers, corporates, professional firms and asset managers. The principal services are Technical Due Diligence, CAPEX Forecasts, Sustainability, Climate Change Adaptation, Defects Reviews etc. The core skills within this Australian consultancy are the technical assessment of the physical condition of commercial assets coupled with a clear understanding of client property and asset strategies. An important competency of the consultants employed by this leading surveying and engineering firm is the ability to take a commercial view of property circumstances and information. Our Sydney office is seeking a Senior Building Services Engineer with the capability to assess the compliance and condition of property assets (Mech, Elec, Fire, Hydraulic, Vertical Transportation) and produce professional quality reports for high level institutional clients. You will likely have a technical background as a Mechanical Services Engineer and you will have the core competencies that include:-· Good knowledge of buildings and properties (e.g. 5-10yrs PQE) and the problems and issues to look for when dealing with due diligence assessments;· The ability to write and present a cohesive, coherent and technically sound report for readership by high level executives;· Excellent liaison skills with fellow engineers and consultants to be able to source relevant information for compilation in reports and assessments;· A very professional demeanour that will allow interaction with high level property executives in formal and informal settings.
