Base salary from $80,000 + Super + Bonus Scheme + Group wide discounts

We’re on the hunt for our next Assistant Manager to help keep the Castle Hill Tavern buzzing and loved by the locals.

As the original 'local' pub in the Hills District, Castle Hill Tavern has a long-standing reputation for friendly, exceptional service. We are a multi-faceted venue catering to the community with a high-volume Family Bistro, dynamic TAB and gaming facilities, a popular beer garden, and two dedicated function rooms hosting corporate and private events. With a packed weekly schedule of live entertainment and trivia, we offer a fast-paced and rewarding team environment.

A Day In The Life Of An Assistant Manager

Inherent Requirements

This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

About You

You’ve been around the bar, bistro, or gaming room block, and maybe already done some supervisingYou’ve learned from great managers and now you’re ready to step upYou’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is awayYou’ve got a current RSA, RSG/RCG and ARCG as per state requirements
