About the role
As our Sales Administrator / Sales Assistant, you’ll support our Sales team and help keep customer orders and day-to-day operations running smoothly.
* Respond to customer enquiries and provide friendly, professional support.
* Assist the Sales team with quotations, orders, customer follow-ups and sales administration.
* Prepare quotations, invoices, purchase orders and other business documents.
* Process sales orders and maintain accurate customer records in the CRM system.
* Coordinate showroom appointments, deliveries and installation schedules.
* Liaise with customers, suppliers, builders and subcontractors regarding orders and project progress.
* Coordinate warehouse dispatch, customer pick-ups and deliveries, ensuring orders are prepared and dispatched accurately.
* Support general office administration, stock coordination and day-to-day operations as required.
* Excellent in spoken and written English.
* Experienced in administration, sales support or customer service (preferred).
* Friendly and professional, with strong communication and customer service skills.
* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
* Able to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively and stay organised in a busy environment.
* Proactive, responsible and able to follow tasks through to completion.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new systems; CRM experience is an advantage.
* Basic PowerPoint, CAD or similar drafting skills for creating simple sketches and layouts are preferred, but not essential.
* Experience or an interest in the building, construction or interior design industry would be highly regarded.
* Honest, reliable and responsible, with a strong work ethic.
* Positive, willing to learn and comfortable working as part of a team.
* Looking for a long-term opportunity and keen to grow with the company.
* Legally entitled to work in Australia.
