What you'll be doing

You'll safely transport residents to community outings and social activities while creating a positive experience throughout each journey.

Responsibilities include:
•    Safely transporting residents and passengers
•    Completing daily vehicle safety inspections and logbooks
•    Conducting scheduled route risk assessments
•    Assisting residents to board and exit the vehicle safely
•    Maintaining a clean, safe and roadworthy bus

•    Engaging and communicating with residents including planned activities 
•    Following all road rules and organisational safety requirements
•    Providing friendly, respectful customer service to residents, families and staff

About you
You'll enjoy working with older people and take pride in providing excellent service.

To be successful, you'll have:
•    Current NSW Light Rigid (LR) Driver Licence
•    Excellent communication and customer service skills

•    Enjoy supporting aged people
•    Good problem-solving ability and sound judgement
•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team
•    Understanding of workplace health and safety practices
•    Knowledge of aged care (desirable)
•    Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
•    Valid Australian working rights
•    Current Influenza vaccination
•    Current COVID-19 vaccination in accordance with Moran policy
