2 Weeks On / 2 Weeks Off | Northern Territory

Wilson Diesel Services Pty Ltd is a proudly Territory owned and operated business based in Tennant Creek, delivering mechanical support to some of the Northern Territory's leading mining and remote operations.

With new opportunities coming up across the Northern Territory, we are seeking experienced HD Plant Fitters to join our team on a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off roster.

About the Role

Working across mine sites in the Northern Territory, your duties will include:

• Planned maintenance, servicing and breakdown repairs

• Diagnostics and fault finding

• Component change outs and repairs

• Working safely within a mining environment

• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and documentation

• FIFO ex Darwin, Katherine or Alice Springs - Other locations on application, Territory Applicants given first preference

You will be working on a range of heavy mining equipment including:

• Hitachi Excavators

• Caterpillar Haul Trucks

• Caterpillar Dozers

• Caterpillar Loaders

• Ancillary mining equipment

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Australian recognised Heavy Diesel trade qualification

• Demonstrated experience working on Hitachi and Caterpillar mining equipment

• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

• Current unrestricted Manual Driver's Licence

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• A positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Commitment to safe work practices and quality workmanship

You must also be able to successfully complete:

• Pre-Employment Medical

• Drug & Alcohol Screening (LBDAS)

• National Police Check

• Site-specific inductions as required
