Boilermaker

Minimum Qualifications / Experience

Grade 12 Qualified Boilermaker (Red Seal Certificate) Minimum 2–3 years post-trade experience, preferably in a quarry, mining, or heavy industrial environment Understanding of mechanical systems on crushing and screening plants Write, understand, and communicate in English Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Must be prepared to work after hours when needed Will be able to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment Will be able to work independently as well as in a team environment No criminal record Assisting in preparation for internal and external audits

Duties And Responsibilities (not Limited To)

Conduct routine, planned, and breakdown maintenance on crushers, screens, conveyors, bins, chutes, hoppers, and other fixed plant equipment Identify and repair cracks, worn parts, and structural defects through welding, cutting, and fitting Install new plant sections, support frames, guards, handrails, and other mechanical components as needed Maintain housekeeping standards in workshops and work areas Maintain tools, welding equipment, and workshop machinery in good working order Work collaboratively with fitters, electricians, and plant operators to minimize downtime
