About the Role: 

Traditionally our business has been centred around hardware installation and upgrade however more recently we have started working in the satellite space, installing Starlink, and are looking to add to our team.

We have an increasing number of projects based in NSW and are looking for a Sydney based Field Engineer to assist us with our satellite installs there and in regional NSW and potentially interstate locations.

The role is casual so you will be engaged with Starlink work when projects are taking place and depending on your overall skillset, you will have the opportunity to be involved in other hardware installation work when not working with the Starlink team.

You will be conducting site surveys, installing Starlink on rooftops and doing the associated cabling along with any other tasks that will result in a successful outcome.  Outside of Starlink work, you will be installing routers, switches, WAP's and doing the associated cabling when required.

To be successful in securing this role, the following skills and experience is required:

• IT networking experience (router and switch installation)
• Telco industry experience preferred (Technician or Rigger)
• Site survey, installation and commissioning of antennas and/or satellite user terminals highly desirable
• Experience working at heights/on rooftops installing antennas/Starlink or similar

The following qualifications ESSENTIAL (please do not apply if you don't have ALL of the below):

• Valid drivers license
• Construction Industry Induction card (White Card)
• Open Cabling Registration/License
• Valid Safe Working at Heights certificate
• EWP license under 11m (over 11m advantageous)

The following are highly desirable:

• RF Hazard Awareness training
• First Aid Certificate

IF YOU ARE CURRENTLY WORKING FULL TIME, THIS ROLE IS NOT FOR YOU.  We need someone who has availability during business hours Monday to Friday. The role does not support relocation so please only apply if you are currently residing in or around Sydney.
