Join Lower Murray Water and help plan the infrastructure that supports communities, businesses and the environment across north-west Victoria. We're looking for a collaborative and forward-thinking Planning Engineer to help shape future capital investment programs and deliver long-term benefits for our region.  

About the Role 

Working within our Infrastructure Services team, you'll contribute to the planning and prioritisation of capital works projects across water, wastewater, irrigation and drainage services. You'll help develop long-term infrastructure plans, business cases and investment strategies that support sustainable service delivery for our customers and communities.  

What You'll Be Doing

·         Supporting capital works planning and prioritisation activities.

·         Developing long-term infrastructure and master planning initiatives.

·         Assisting with 15-year and 20-year Capital Works Plans.

·         Preparing business cases and investment planning documentation.

·         Working collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver practical infrastructure solutions.

·         Supporting continuous improvement and future planning activities.

About You

You enjoy solving problems, working collaboratively and creating positive outcomes for communities. We welcome applicants from a range of engineering, infrastructure planning, asset management and related backgrounds. 

You may bring: 

·         Engineering qualifications in a relevant discipline. 

·         Experience in infrastructure planning, asset management or capital projects. 

·         Strong analytical and communication skills. 

·         Experience developing business cases or strategic plans. 

·         A commitment to teamwork, safety and continuous improvement.
