Storeperson / Storeperson Driver

Haymans Electrical and Data Suppliers Townsville has 2 permanent positions open for Storepersons, and we're on the hunt for people with enthusiasm, energy, and a drive for success.

These are full-time positions, with the hours of the role being Monday to Friday 7:00am – 4:00pm and the occasional Saturday morning.
 
In this role, your responsibilities will include: 

 Warehousing duties, including checking incoming goods, receiving them into the operating system, identifying customer orders, putting stock away. 

Site deliveries/collections to various sites 

Interacting professionally with customers to deliver/pickup goods 

Keeping any vehicle or equipment in safe and clean condition 

Picking and packing of customer orders 

Accurate completion of the relevant paperwork 

Assisting with stock counts 

For this role, you will also need the following:  
 Must be an Australian / New Zealand resident or citizen. Sponsorship is not offered for this role. (No temporary visas, unfortunately) 

• A current Australian Class C driver's licence with a good driving record - Storeperson

• A current LR or higher truck license with a good driving record - Storeperson Driver

• Demonstrated experience as a Warehouse Storeperson/Delivery Driver with a full understanding of receiving and dispatching of goods. 

• Be comfortable with IT / Computer Skills.

• High attention to detail 

• Good communication skills and a customer-focused mindset. 

• Have good time management skills and a proactive work ethic. 

• A reliable vehicle.
