Gain paid work experience during semester breaks!

The Vacation Employment Program allows current university students to gain paid work experience during semester breaks. These are short-term entry-level roles to start building your resume before you graduate.

The program will support you to develop your skills and professional network, and grow your career with the Northern Territory Government.

You will receive:

• Equivalent of an annual starting salary of $62,069

• Access to NT Government employment benefits, including leave provisions and superannuation contributions.

Who can apply:

To be eligible to apply, you should:

• Be a current full-time or part-time tertiary education student at an Australian university

• Have enrolled in units before and after the semester break

• Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident, or hold a visa with appropriate working rights.
