The role:

Step into a hands-on leadership role where you’ll lead a day crew delivering high-quality underground civil works across the Greater Melbourne Area. As a Crew Lead, you’ll take ownership of safety, productivity, and quality on site, working closely with Supervisors and Project Managers while building your leadership capability and technical expertise.

Your everyday:

• Organise and execute daily work plans based on job packs provided by Project Managers, ensuring clarity of scope and SWMS compliance
• Direct and supervise crew activities on-site, maintaining productivity and adherence to technical standards
• Act as the primary point of contact for the crew, escalating issues to Supervisors or Leading Hands when necessary
• Ensure all works comply with VEDN technical standards
• Maintain accurate documentation of daily activities

Must Have:

• Full VESI accreditation
• Extensive experience in civil construction and crew leadership
• Strong knowledge of VEDN technical standards and underground civil works
• Ability to interpret job packs, SWMS, and technical drawings
• Valid driver’s licence.
