We are looking for an experienced Motor Mechanic to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for a qualified mechanic seeking stable, long-term employment with a modern workshop and a close-knit team.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
• Servicing and repairing a wide range of light vehicles
• Inspecting engines, transmissions, brakes, steering and suspension systems
• Using diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve faults
• Replacing and repairing mechanical components
• Carrying out road tests and post-repair inspections
• Following manufacturer specifications and repair procedures
• Maintaining accurate service and repair records
• Keeping the workshop clean, safe and organised
• Working closely with the workshop team to ensure jobs are completed efficiently
• Providing high-quality workmanship and professional customer service

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent qualification
• Demonstrated experience as a qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic
• Strong mechanical diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Experience working on a variety of light vehicles
• Ability to use automotive diagnostic scan tools and workshop equipment
• Current driver's licence
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable, motivated and professional attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
• Commitment to workplace safety and high-quality workmanship
