Data Entry / Receptionist

About the role

Located in the Tullamarine Area, we are a glass merchant that supply, cut and deliver glass to trade and industry. We are currently looking for a Data entry/receptionist person. This position will work closely with our Production and Sales Team to provide fast responses to our customers.

There is a lot to learn to become proficient in this role so only serious applicants looking for a secure career path need apply.

The successful applicant will have previous experience in a fast paced, dynamic workplace as well as:

Key responsibilities

• Delivering a high level of customer service at all times

• Answering incoming calls

• Attend to customers and Suppliers via phone and at Reception

• General office administration

• Data entry

• Receive orders and prepare quotes

• Maintain & control purchase orders

• Support Sales, Despatch and Production Teams

• Maintaining front office area

About you

• Previous experience in a fast paced, dynamic workplace

• Customer service experience (Minimum 2 years)

• A customer focused attitude with excellent relationship management skills

• Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills

• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Google Drive

• Strong attention to detail

• Time management and organisational skills

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

• Able to cope in a fast-paced work environment and work well under pressure
