WestsideHQ is one of Brisbane's fastest-growing community clubs and a finalist in the Clubs Queensland Best Services Club Awards 2026. We're continuing to invest in our people, facilities and member experience, and we're looking for an exceptional Duty Manager to join our leadership team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Hotel Duty Manager, Assistant Manager or Club Supervisor looking to take the next step in their hospitality career with a progressive and growing organisation.

As the senior manager on duty, you'll play a key role in leading our operations, supporting our team and delivering outstanding experiences for members and guests across gaming, food and beverage and entertainment areas.

About the Role

Reporting to the Operations Leadership Team, you'll be responsible for:

• Leading and motivating teams across gaming, bar and bistro operations

• Managing day-to-day venue operations and ensuring smooth service delivery

• Providing visible leadership and support to team members

• Delivering exceptional member and guest experiences

• Driving service standards and operational excellence

• Managing and resolving customer enquiries professionally and efficiently

• Ensuring compliance with RSA, RSG, Approved Manager and workplace safety requirements

• Supporting the development and performance of team members

• Maintaining a positive, professional and customer-focused culture

About You

To succeed in this role, you'll be a hands-on leader who enjoys being on the floor, engaging with guests and developing high-performing teams.

You'll bring:

• Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a Duty Manager, Assistant Manager or similar leadership role

• Experience within hospitality, hotels, clubs, pubs or gaming venues

• Strong leadership and people management skills

• Excellent customer service and communication abilities

• Sound understanding of gaming, liquor and compliance requirements

• A proactive approach to problem solving and decision making

• Flexibility to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays

Essential Requirements

• Current RSA Certificate

• Current RSG/RCG Certificate

• Current Approved Manager Certification

• Full Australian working rights
