Drive strategic policy and projects that shape the future of teaching quality and professional regulation in Victoria.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-profile policy initiatives and strategic projects that influence the teaching profession and support VIT's role as Victoria's regulator of teachers. Working at the intersection of policy, regulation and education, you will play a key role in developing evidence-based solutions, leading complex projects and providing trusted advice to senior leaders and stakeholders.
About the role
Reporting to the Manager, Strategic Policy and Projects, the Senior Policy and Projects Officer is responsible for leading and supporting complex policy development and project delivery across the organisation.
You will contribute to strategic initiatives that strengthen regulatory frameworks, inform organisational decision-making and support the delivery of VIT's Strategic Plan. The role requires strong analytical skills, sound judgement and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.

You are a strategic thinker with strong policy and project management experience, ideally gained within a government, regulatory, education or similarly complex environment.
