Anmar Scales has an exciting opportunity for an experienced part-time Bookkeeper to join our growing team at our Broadmeadows head office. This role is approximately 20–25 hours per week, with flexible days and times available for the right person. Key responsibilities of this role will include:
· End-to-end management of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
Update and maintain financial transaction records for multiple Companies and locations, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data by verifying and allocating bank transactions.
Bank Statement reconciliations - multiple accounts
General Ledger account reconciliations
Review of payroll runs and preparation of year-end payroll requirements.
Preparation and lodgement of monthly BAS
Month end and year end journals as required.
Direct dealings with external accountants
Payroll tax and superannuation preparation and lodgement
Assist with the annual budgeting process.
Identifying areas needing cost reduction or process improvements to reduce costs.
Renewal of insurance policies
Management reporting.
Communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding financial matters.
Preparation of financial reports on an ad-hoc and schedule basis
What we are looking for:
Bookkeeping or accounting qualifications (preferred)
5+ years of bookkeeping and/or financial experience
· Strong IT literacy, including mandatory QuickBooks Online (QBO) experience, as well as Microsoft Office and Simpro experience (preferred)
Excellent time management and organization skills
Customer service focus
Proven ability to communicate clearly and concisely to all stakeholders.
Ability to apply knowledge in a practical, financial, and commercial manner.
Strong work ethic and team player
Professional approach
Able to multitask and have a high level of accuracy and attention to details are a MUST.
Confident manner with a positive approach to change.
