The Southport School is a leading Anglican Day and Boarding school for boys situated on the banks of the beautiful Nerang River in the heart of the Gold Coast. We are extremely proud to say that boarding life has always been an integral feature of TSS since the first boarders arrived in 1909 into Thorold, McKinley, and Delpratt Houses. The boarders bring to TSS their unique personal qualities and perspectives and are foundational in providing a unique community within a community in our School.
Our boarding team is now seeking great candidates interested in school boarding, available to commence Term 4 in October 2026. This is a live-in position (fixed-term contract until the end of 2027), perfect if you're studying or working with flexibility for evening, morning or weekend duties. You'll become an integral part of our boarders' daily lives and our boarding community, and the rostered schedule means you can blend this role seamlessly with your own commitments.
In the role of Boarding House Supervisor, you will be asked to provide approximately 12 hours per week of residential supervisory duty – this is all rostered so there are no surprises, and you can work your duties around your commitments. In return for your time, we offer you:
