Spanish Teacher

Located in Pymble, Sydney, Northside Montessori School is a well-established and highly regarded Montessori school which currently caters for students from Early Childhood to Year 12. The school follows an authentic Montessori educational approach, centred on understanding and meeting the needs of the individual child. We deliver the NSW NESA Syllabus across all year levels, as well as the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program in Years 11 & 12. Our school instils in children a love of learning, a sense of wonder and develops each individual child’s confidence and independent learning skills. 

We are currently seeking a Spanish language teacher for our Pre Primary (age 3-5) and Primary classes (Kindergarten to Year 6). As a small school our class sizes are varied and Montessori schools operate classes in a 3 year multi-aged cycle.

The successful candidate will be a committed and diligent Educator who is able to work as part of the educational community at the School. You will have the required teaching qualification, be NESA Accredited and possess experience in teaching Spanish Language teaching. A background in Montessori Education, either Diploma or Assistant qualifications would be beneficial but not essential.

The role would be permanent part time, 2 days per week, ideally Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. Commencing throughout Term 3 2026 or as soon as possible.

There may also e capacity for the role to increase in 2027 to teach junior high school (Year 7 or 8) language, and/or IB language for the right candidate if able and willing. (Training for IB would be provided). The role would suit a Spanish teacher willing and able to teach younger and older children.
