POSITION TITLE: Garment Technician
DEPARTMENT: Apparel
REPORTING TO: Sales Manager

Position Overview:
As a Garment Tech, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the technical accuracy, quality and fit of garments from concept to production. You will be responsible for defining and maintaining product specifications, developing new garment specifications based on market trends and ensuring design feasibility while upholding quality and safety standards.
This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a face-paced environment. You will work closely with Sales, Design and QA teams to achieve commercially viable and high-quality products. You will also work directly with our retail partners to attend and manage fit meetings,
Key Responsibilities:
Define, maintain and uphold all garment specifications.
Develop new specifications in line with sales and market trends.
Provide technical and quality support to the Sales and Design team, ensuring design vision meets practical execution including review of sized art.
Manage and track critical path, ensuring timely outcomes at each stage of the sampling process.
Communicate QA comments and specifications to all stakeholders in line with critical path.
Responsible for product labelling requirements with a sound knowledge of product testing, QA and sustainability practices.
Manage fit sessions by providing expert guidance on fit adjustments to achieve the best commercial outcome.
Maintain accurate documentation and data within the central filing system, 3 Clicks.
Build and maintain strong, effective relationships with both internal and external teams and contacts.
Additional duties as required.
Candidate Requirements:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in Garment tech role.
Experience in fast-paced, high volume environment.
Knowledge of garment construction and safety requirements.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Exceptional organisational, time management and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and Adobe Illustrator.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable to changing priorities and deadlines.
