About the role

We have a current vacancy for an experienced Horticultural Professional to join the Gardening Improvement team. This full-time role will involve maintaining and enhancing the natural beauty of outdoor landscapes and gardens for our clients.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

• Performing regular garden maintenance tasks such as mowing, weeding, pruning, and mulching

• Planting and caring for a variety of plants, flowers, and trees

• Operating and maintaining landscaping equipment and tools

• Identifying and addressing any garden or plant health issues

• Providing recommendations to clients on plant selection

• Ensuring a high level of presentation and cleanliness in all client gardens

About You

Along with your strong work ethic and previous horticultural experience you'll have/be:

• Minimum 2 -5 years of experience in a gardening or horticulture role

• Certificate 3 Parks and Gardens (Horticulture)

• Full Australian working rights or hold permanent residency

• Strong knowledge of plant species, their care requirements, and seasonal maintenance

• Be well presented at all times, goal driven and motivated,

• Excellent phone manner and written record keeping skills,

• Comfortable working as part of a team to ensure a consistently high quality outcome for our clients.

• Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics

• A valid driver's license (manual) and Workcover White Card

• White Card can be obtained after starting employment
