About the role
We have a current vacancy for an experienced Horticultural Professional to join the Gardening Improvement team. This full-time role will involve maintaining and enhancing the natural beauty of outdoor landscapes and gardens for our clients.
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
Performing regular garden maintenance tasks such as mowing, weeding, pruning, and mulching
Planting and caring for a variety of plants, flowers, and trees
Operating and maintaining landscaping equipment and tools
Identifying and addressing any garden or plant health issues
Providing recommendations to clients on plant selection
Ensuring a high level of presentation and cleanliness in all client gardens
About You
Along with your strong work ethic and previous horticultural experience you'll have/be:
Minimum 2 -5 years of experience in a gardening or horticulture role
Certificate 3 Parks and Gardens (Horticulture)
Full Australian working rights or hold permanent residency
Strong knowledge of plant species, their care requirements, and seasonal maintenance
Be well presented at all times, goal driven and motivated,
Excellent phone manner and written record keeping skills,
Comfortable working as part of a team to ensure a consistently high quality outcome for our clients.
Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics
A valid driver's license (manual) and Workcover White Card
White Card can be obtained after starting employment
