About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Internal Assurance Analyst to join our Home Office. Working closely with the Audit and Compliance Manager, this role plays a key part in strengthening governance, risk management, and internal control processes across Iglu.
Key responsibilities include:
Conduct risk-based reviews under the Annual Assurance Plan, including testing and documenting audit procedures
Prepare clear audit reports and communicate findings to stakeholders
Track and validate remedial actions to ensure timely resolution
Liaise with business units to gather information and identify improvement opportunities
Contribute to continuous improvement of audit methodologies and tools
Do you have what it takes?
To be successful, you will have the following skills and attributes:
General understanding of audit concepts, processes and internal controls
Strong written and verbal communication skills to liaise effectively with key stakeholders
High attention to detail and the ability to manage information accurately
Competent with Microsoft Office suite
Commercial acumen with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to work autonomously as well as contribute within a team environment
A related degree in commerce, business, finance or accounting
Experience in audit, accounting, risk management or a related field is highly regarded
Currently holds, or is planning to pursue, a CA, CPA or equivalent qualification
Flexibility to travel interstate throughout the year
