Internal Assurance Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Internal Assurance Analyst to join our Home Office. Working closely with the Audit and Compliance Manager, this role plays a key part in strengthening governance, risk management, and internal control processes across Iglu.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conduct risk-based reviews under the Annual Assurance Plan, including testing and documenting audit procedures

• Prepare clear audit reports and communicate findings to stakeholders

• Track and validate remedial actions to ensure timely resolution

• Liaise with business units to gather information and identify improvement opportunities

• Contribute to continuous improvement of audit methodologies and tools

Do you have what it takes?

To be successful, you will have the following skills and attributes:

• General understanding of audit concepts, processes and internal controls

• Strong written and verbal communication skills to liaise effectively with key stakeholders

• High attention to detail and the ability to manage information accurately

• Competent with Microsoft Office suite

• Commercial acumen with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work autonomously as well as contribute within a team environment

• A related degree in commerce, business, finance or accounting

• Experience in audit, accounting, risk management or a related field is highly regarded

• Currently holds, or is planning to pursue, a CA, CPA or equivalent qualification

• Flexibility to travel interstate throughout the year
