Draintech Melbourne is seeking a skilled and experienced Drain Reliner/Drainer to join our growing team, based in Spotswood, Victoria. This is a full-time opportunity to play a key role in the inspection, maintenance, repair, and relining of drainage systems across the local area.

Our clients are water authorities, residential and commercial properties across the Melbourne area.

As a Drain Reliner/Drainer, you'll deliver high-quality, reliable drainage solutions for residential and commercial clients — from diagnosing blockages and structural issues through assisting relining crews and the occasional dig outs. You'll work as part of a hands-on team that takes pride in getting the job done right the first time, with the opportunity to build your skills across a variety of projects and client sites.

What you'll be doing

• Inspect, assess and diagnose drainage issues using advanced technology

• Implement drain relining procedures to repair damaged or blocked drainage pipes

• Unblock and clear drains using high pressure water jet equipment

• Provide advice and guidance to clients on the best drainage solutions for their needs

• Maintain a high level of workmanship and customer service at all times

• Ensure work is completed in compliance with relevant plumbing regulations and safety standards

• Collaborate with the wider team to share knowledge and best practices

What we're looking for

• Qualified plumber/drainer with a minimum of 3 years' experience in drain relining and drainage maintenance

• Excellent practical and technical skills in drain inspection, relining and unblocking

• Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused approach

• Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
