HR & HC Driver

About the role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced HR (Heavy Rigid) Driver with a HC licence & experience to join our team at Hard Rock Transport Pty Ltd in Campbellfield , VIC. Driver may be driving a rigid truck but needs the ability to fill in for HC role occasionally to go regional or interstate. This is a casual position at first with opportunity to become full time, offering flexible work arrangements to suit your lifestyle. If suitable and experienced, may start in a HC.

What you'll be doing

• Safely operating a tray truck to transport slabs of marble, granite & man-made stone across metropolitan Melbourne and regional areas

• Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and safety

• Adhering to all road rules, traffic regulations and company policies to ensure safe driving practices

• Providing exceptional customer service and timely delivery of goods

• Maintaining accurate records of jobs, deliveries and vehicle usage

• Assisting with the loading and unloading of the vehicle as required. No manual carrying.

What we're looking for

• Current HC driver's licence

• Minimum 2 years' experience operating tray trucks or similar commercial vehicles

• Strong knowledge of road rules and safe driving practices

• Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to on-time delivery

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good communication and problem-solving skills

• Flexible approach to working hours and shift patterns

• No Lifting or carrying
