Team Leader Recovery and Resilience
Full time – Limited Tenure (until 30 June 2028)
Band 7 (Salary $105,184 - $116,776 incl. RDO) + Super
The Pyrenees Shire Council is seeking an experienced and community-focused Team Leader Recovery and Resilience to lead recovery, resilience and preparedness initiatives supporting communities impacted by the Streatham Yalla-Y-Poora Road Fire (AGRN 1242).
Reporting to the Manager Community Wellbeing and Partnerships, this project-based role will lead engagement and support activities for affected communities, individuals and businesses, working closely with the Recovery Team, government agencies, neighbouring councils and community organisations to ensure people can access the services, information and support they need throughout their recovery journey.
This is an opportunity for an experienced leader who is passionate about community resilience, can work effectively in complex and changing environments, and has the empathy, persistence and relationship-building skills required to support communities through recovery.
