About the Role

L Windows Pty Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper (Mandarin Speaking) to join our team based in Burwood, VIC 3125.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, and supporting the smooth operation of our accounting functions. As our business continues to grow, you will work closely with both internal staff and external stakeholders to ensure financial information is recorded accurately and efficiently.

Fluency in both Mandarin and English is essential. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced bookkeeper looking for a flexible part-time position within a supportive and growing company.

Key responsibilities

• Recording and maintaining accurate financial transactions in accounting software and ledgers

• Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice preparation and payment processing

• Reconciling bank statements and identifying discrepancies

• Preparing and maintaining financial records in accordance with relevant accounting standards and regulations

• Assisting with payroll processing and employee record maintenance

• Supporting the preparation of financial reports and statements for management review

• Managing filing systems and ensuring all financial documentation is properly organised and stored

• Assisting with general administrative duties related to accounting functions

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in bookkeeping or small practice accounting, ideally within a similar commercial environment

• Proficiency in accounting software packages and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles, GST compliance, and financial record-keeping procedures

• Fluency in both written and spoken Mandarin and English

• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy when managing multiple transactions

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively

• Professional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members

• Knowledge of Australian tax and accounting requirements is highly desirable

• Relevant bookkeeping qualifications or certifications (such as those offered by professional accounting bodies) are preferred but not essential
