About the role
The NSLHD Child Protection Counselling Service (CPCS) provides an integrated tertiary level response to people who have experienced or are affected by child protection. The CPCS counsellor is responsible for the provision of specialist therapeutic and case management services to children, young people and their carers who have experienced physical abuse, emotional abuse, domestic violence or neglect.
Employment Type: Temporary Full Time until 22 April 2027 (with possibility of ongoing employment)
Position Classification: Health Clinician Level 3
Remuneration:
Clinical Psychologist: $2,264,57 - $2,760.16 per week
Counsellor Level 3: $2,329.85 - $2,40.34 per week
Senior Psychologist: $2,470,95 - $2,677.57 per week
Social Worker Level 3: $2,329.85 - $2,40.34 per week

What you'll be doing
The Northern Sydney Child Protection Counselling Service (CPCS) provides an integrated tertiary level response to people who have experienced or are affected by child protection. The Child Protection Counsellor is responsible for the provision of specialist therapeutic and case management services to children, young people and their carers who have experienced physical abuse, emotional abuse, domestic violence or neglect. CPCS also provides professional consultation and training, systems advocacy, community engagement, education, and prevention work to professionals and communities.
