Sales Representative – Timber Staircases

Allwood Stairs designs, manufactures and installs premium timber staircases across residential and commercial projects.

We're looking for an experienced Sales Representative with timber staircase industry experience who combines strong sales ability with practical stair knowledge.

The role

• Meet homeowners, builders and clients on-site across Sydney and the Central Coast

• Assess sites, measure accurately and recommend appropriate stair and balustrade options

• Read plans and interpret measurements

• Prepare and present quotations

• Follow up opportunities, negotiate and close sales

• Win new builder accounts and grow existing relationships

• Manage your sales pipeline from enquiry through to handover

• Work closely with estimating, manufacturing and installation teams

What you'll need

• Proven timber staircase industry experience

• Strong sales skills with a track record of closing

• Good technical understanding of staircases and balustrades

• Ability to read plans, measure accurately and understand site conditions

• Estimating or quoting experience

• Confidence dealing with homeowners, builders and site teams

• Strong organisation and follow-up skills

• Current Australian driver licence and Australian work rights

Computer & Systems Skills

You'll need to be comfortable working with modern systems, including:

• CRM and cloud-based sales systems

• Microsoft 365 and Teams

• CAD software

• Good general computer and written communication skills

• Ability to learn new software quickly and keep accurate customer and project records

Hybrid Working

Our head office and manufacturing facility are in West Gosford, but you won't be expected to commute to the office every day.

For the right person, the role offers genuine flexibility to work from home, travel directly to Sydney client appointments and manage your pipeline remotely, while attending West Gosford when required.
