About the role
About The Role
Angels Care is seeking a registered Occupational Therapist to join our Allied Health team in Western Sydney. You will deliver a broad scope of NDIS-funded OT services — from functional capacity evaluations and home modification assessments to assistive technology (AT) prescription and capacity-building therapy.
Working across community and home-based settings, you will collaborate closely with our Support Coordination and Support Worker teams to ensure integrated, participant-centred care. You will maintain a manageable caseload with strong administrative and clinical support.
We welcome applications from both experienced OTs and new graduates eager to develop their skills in the NDIS space. Mentorship and professional development support is available.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct functional capacity evaluations (FCEs) to inform NDIS planning and plan reviews Assess and prescribe appropriate assistive technology, home modifications, and equipment Deliver capacity-building occupational therapy in home and community settings Develop goal-directed therapy plans aligned with participant NDIS goals Prepare high-quality clinical reports for the NDIA, participants, and support networks Collaborate with physiotherapists, speech pathologists, and behaviour support practitioners Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with AHPRA and NDIS Practice Standards
Required Qualifications & Checks
Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist Current NDIS Worker Screening Check NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) Current First Aid & CPR certificate Valid Australian Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle (travel within Western Sydney required) Right to work in Australia
Preferred Skills & Experience
Experience within the NDIS sector and familiarity with NDIS funding categories Experience in assistive technology prescription (AAT or relevant certification advantageous) Knowledge of home modification assessment and reporting Experience with complex or high-intensity participants
