Disability Support Worker - Complex Care

At Young Mindz, we empower Australians with disability, aged 9 to 65 to live fulfilling, independent lives through person-centred Supported Independent Living, in-home and community support services.

We’re currently seeking experienced and caring candidates to support a male participant in Rathdowney with MS. MUST have experience with personal care (continence aids, showering, dysphagia) & manual handling (hoists/wheelchair). The role requires a calm, confident support worker with experience with wheelchair support and working with physical disabilities.

You Will

• Support with daily living tasks and personal care
• Implement care plans & behaviour support strategies
• Prepare nutritious meals and support healthy routines
• Encourage independence, community participation and social engagement.
• Maintain accurate documentation and incident reporting

• NDIS Orientation Completion Certificate
• NDIS Worker Screening Check, Blue Card, First Aid and CPR
• Australian Driver’s Licence, reliable vehicle with comprehensive car insurance
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in support work, community services, or a related field

Competitive pay rates and shift loading:

• Day: $45.28 | Afternoon: $49.80 | Night: $50.71
• Saturday: $63.39 | Sunday: $81.50 | Public Holiday: $99.61
• Vehicle Allowance: $1.01 per km
