Cleaners - Full Time

About the role

IKON Services Australia Pty Ltd is seeking experienced and reliable Cleaners to join our growing team on a full-time basis. Based in Pyrmont, NSW 2009, this role is fundamental to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our client properties and facilities. As a Cleaner, you will play a vital part in creating clean, safe and welcoming environments that reflect our commitment to quality service delivery and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting and sanitising across assigned areas

• Clean and maintain bathrooms, kitchens, floors and other facilities to the highest hygiene standards

• Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with environmental and safety regulations

• Use and maintain cleaning equipment and tools safely and effectively

• Follow health and safety protocols and cleaning schedules consistently

• Report maintenance issues and damages to management promptly

• Restock cleaning supplies and materials as required

• Maintain a professional appearance and demonstrate excellent customer service when interacting with clients or staff

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working as a cleaner in commercial, residential or hospitality environments

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleaning standards

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Physical fitness and capability to perform manual cleaning tasks throughout a full working day

• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to cleaning services

• Familiarity with various cleaning products, equipment and techniques previous commercial kitchen cleaning experience is requited

• Shifts available morning and afternoon

• Excellent communication skills and professional demeanour

• Current working rights in Australia

• No sponsorship available

• A valid driver's licence is preferred for this position
