About the role
Full-Time Conveyancer – Onsite
Location: South Melbourne
Employment Type: Full-time
Start Date: Immediate or ASAP
We are a well-established and growing conveyancing practice seeking an experienced Full-Time Conveyancer to join our team. This role is available onsite, with the possibility of a hybrid remote arrangement for the right, highly experienced applicant after the initial 6 month period (strict conditions apply).
About the Role
You will manage a full conveyancing file end-to-end, working autonomously while also being part of a supportive and collaborative team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone confident in all stages of a conveyancing transaction and comfortable running matters independently.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-end management of conveyancing files including:
Vendors
Purchases
Transfers
Subdivisions
Liaising with clients, agents, lenders, councils, and other professionals
Drafting clear, accurate and professional legal correspondence
Managing settlements via PEXA
Ensuring compliance with all legislative and procedural requirements
Meeting deadlines while maintaining a high standard of work
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
3–5+ years’ full-time experience working in conveyancing
Proven experience managing files from start to finish
Comprehensive knowledge of DOL (Victoria) and PEXA
Excellent legal letter drafting and written communication skills
The ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
A great attitude, professionalism, and the ability to work well within a team
