Agitator Driver

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Agitator Driver to join our team at AOL TAS PTY LTD' in Devonport, Tasmania. This is a part-time role that will see you playing a crucial role in our road transport operations. As an Agitator Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of liquids and powdered materials to our clients' sites.

What you'll be doing

1. Safely operating an agitator truck

2. Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in proper working condition

3. Monitoring and maintaining the proper agitation of materials during transport

4. Adhering to all relevant road rules, safety regulations and company policies

5. Providing excellent customer service and communicating effectively with clients

6. Completing all necessary paperwork and documentation related to each delivery

What we're looking for

1. A valid Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's licence with a strong safety record

2. At least 2 years' experience operating agitator or similar heavy vehicles

3. Knowledge of the safe handling and transportation of liquids and powdered materials

4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to following safety procedures

5. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively

6. A reliable and punctual approach to work
