Accounts Payable Clerk | AMCAP

Based in Welshpool, AMCAP is a leading parts distributor in Australia servicing the automotive, commercial and industrial sectors. We are a well-established and growing organisation that has been operating since 1968. AMCAP is part of Eagers Automotive which is Australia's largest motoring group and is an Australian Stock Exchange listed company.

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our supportive and friendly team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process Parts invoices via 3-way match.
• Process a small number of Sundry invoices (eg. for Rebates and System Licence Fees).
• Monitor/Action the shared email inbox and respond to supplier queries in a timely manner.
• Investigate invoice variances and work with internal stakeholders to resolve the discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
• Prepare monthly Supplier Payments.
• Perform monthly supplier statement reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
• Maintain organized records of accounts payable transactions for audit purposes.

Requirements:

• Good understanding of the Accounts Payable process
• Strong Excel skills
• Attention to detail
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work cooperatively within a small team
