Based in Geelong, Victoria, we have over 350 dedicated and valued employees, allowing us to grow and produce some of the most technically advanced and highest performing wheels on the planet.
We are currently looking for a Financial Reporting & Compliance Officer to join our Finance team in Geelong. Reporting to our Financial Controller, the successful candidate will be integral to ensuring the accuracy of financial information, supporting robust governance practices, and maintaining compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
What you’ll do
Financial Reporting & Compliance
Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, including reconciliations and journal preparation.
Support the preparation of annual financial statements and accompanying disclosures.
Prepare statutory and regulatory reporting requirements.
Monitor compliance with accounting standards, legislation, and internal policies.
Maintain documentation of financial processes, controls, and procedures.
Contribute to improvements in financial reporting systems and processes.
External Audit Coordination
Manage and coordinate the annual external audit process.
Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors.
Prepare audit files, schedules, working papers, and supporting documentation.
Reconcile financial statements and general ledger balances for audit purposes.
Respond to audit queries and assist with resolving audit findings.
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and reporting obligations.
Internal Audit & Governance
Coordinate internal audit activities and liaise with audit providers.
Support the development and execution of risk-based audit plans.
Prepare and provide documentation required for internal audit reviews.
Track and report on audit recommendations and corrective actions.
Assist in identifying control weaknesses and opportunities for process improvement.
Support reviews of financial policies, procedures, and delegated authorities.
What you'll bring
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
CPA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification (completed or working towards).
5+ years' experience in financial reporting, audit, compliance, or a related finance role.
Demonstrated experience coordinating internal and/or external audits.
Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards (AASB/IFRS) and reporting requirements.
Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP or financial systems.
Exceptional attention to detail and analytical capability.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging with auditors and senior stakeholders.
