About the role
As a Circumstance / Factual Investigator, you will conduct investigations on behalf of our clients, including interviewing workers, employers and witnesses, obtaining statements, reviewing relevant documentation and preparing comprehensive investigation reports. You will be responsible for managing allocated matters efficiently while maintaining a high standard of professionalism, accuracy, impartiality and confidentiality.

Conduct investigations on behalf of clients
Interview workers, employers and witnesses
Obtain statements from relevant parties
Review relevant documentation
Prepare comprehensive investigation reports
Manage allocated matters efficiently
Maintain high standards of professionalism, accuracy, impartiality and confidentiality
About you
Minimum of 12 months' experience conducting Workers Compensation investigations
Self-motivated and capable of managing matters independently
Able to prioritise and manage multiple files and competing deadlines
Exceptional attention to detail
Strong interviewing and interpersonal communication skills
Confident communicating with individuals at all levels, including within corporate and government environments
Excellent written communication and report-writing skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic file management
Employment Requirements
Current Australian Driver Licence
Certificate III in Investigative Services or equivalent recognised qualification
Current Private Investigator Licence issued by Victoria Police Licensing & Regulation Division
Appropriate professional insurances applicable to subcontract investigation work
An ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) Certificate is highly regarded.
Computer or laptop with Windows applications and printing/scanning facilities.
Secure home office and confidential document storage.
