 Valmar Support Services is a Not-for-Profit Organisation that strives to provide high-quality support services to people with disabilities, aged care services, community transport, and supported employment opportunities throughout our communities.

A vacancy exists for a Permanent Full Time House Coordinator (38 hours per week). We are seeking a suitably experienced and qualified person to coordinate the day-to-day operations of Tumut's Mangaroo Group Home.

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

·         Coordinating the daily operation of the group home;

·         Providing direction, supervision and rostering of staff;

·         Arranging, implementing and responding to Person-Centred Plans (PCPs) for clients;

·         Supporting clients to live as independently as possible by encouraging and assisting them to manage their
own domestic responsibilities; and

·         Ensuring quality service delivery in accordance with organisational and NDIS requirements.

The position's hours cover all days and shifts across a 7-day roster, including evening, weekend and sleepover shifts.

Essential Requirements
Successful applicants must:

• Be willing to undertake a NSW NDIS Worker Screening Check;

• Hold or be able to obtain a Working With Children Check;

• Hold a current Australian Driver Licence;

• Hold a current First Aid Certificate; and

• Hold a minimum Certificate III in Disability Services (or associated discipline).

Desirable Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Disability Services or other relevant industry qualification; and

• Demonstrated experience working within disability support services and leading staff teams.
