Optical Assistant/Receptionist

Visionary Optical is an independent optometry practice in the heart of East Fremantle. We are dedicated to providing exceptional eye care and high-quality frames to our community.

We are looking for an Optical Assistant/Receptionist to join our tight knit team. This is an opportunity for you to join a practice that values eye health and excellent customer service above all else. You'll be working alongside a dedicated and supportive team of optical dispensers and optometrists in a high-end busy practice.

You will be the first person our patients see when they arrive instore, so you'll need to have a welcoming, approachable manner and excellent verbal and written communication skills. It is essential that you have previous retail or reception experience in a customer facing role.

A minimum of 2+ years retail customer service or reception experience is required.

Your role will include:

• Welcoming our customers into store

• Reception tasks- including taking payments, answering calls, booking appointments and preparing banking.

• Conducting preliminary testing prior to a patient's eye exam

• Minor frame adjustments

• Excellent presentation

• Must have full working rights

• Available to work Saturdays

• Permanent resident
