Diesel Fitters

Ekidna Enterprises are seeking experienced HME and Field Diesel Fitters for ongoing work at QLD open-cut coal mines in the Bowen basin.

Opportunities are available on a 7/7 roster and ad-hoc shutdowns and service days, suited to fitters with strong HME and Field equipment experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Field maintenance and breakdown support

• Scheduled servicing and inspections

• Diagnostics, fault finding and component change-outs

• Working safely within mine site procedures

Equipment Experience (Required)

• Rope shovels

• Draglines

• Heavy Mobile Equipment (trucks, dozers, graders, loaders)

• Hydraulic excavators

• Light vehicles and ancillary fleet

About You

• Qualified Diesel Fitter / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

• Proven mining maintenance experience

• Comfortable working autonomously in the field

• Strong safety and compliance focus

• Current Australian work rights
