At Kath Dickson Family Centre (KDFC), we've been supporting children, families and communities across Queensland since 1975. As a trusted not-for-profit organisation, we provide early childhood education and care, training, and community services that make a genuine difference in people's lives.
We're seeking a creative and enthusiastic Content & Marketing Coordinator to join our Corporate Team in Toowoomba.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves creating engaging content, telling meaningful stories, and bringing brands to life through social media, photography, videography and digital marketing.
Working alongside our Head of Marketing & Communications, you'll help showcase the incredible work happening across our services and programs while building awareness of the impact KDFC has in the community every day.
About the Role
As our Content & Marketing Coordinator, you'll be responsible for creating and coordinating engaging content across our digital channels and marketing campaigns. You will:
Create social media content including posts, reels, videos, graphics and stories.
Capture photography and video content across our centres, events and programs.
Plan, schedule and manage content across social media platforms.
Support marketing campaigns, community engagement initiatives and promotional activities.
Assist with website updates, digital communications and marketing materials.
Work collaboratively with employees and leaders across the organisation to identify and share meaningful stories.
Help maintain KDFC's brand presence and ensure marketing content remains engaging, professional and aligned with our values.
About You
You are a creative and organised marketing professional who enjoys working independently while building strong relationships with others. You're comfortable switching between content creation, social media management and day-to-day marketing coordination.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Minimum 2 years' experience in a Marketing Coordinator, Content Coordinator, Social Media Coordinator or similar role.
Demonstrated Canva experience and the ability to create professional, engaging content.
Proven experience creating content for social media, including reels, graphics, short-form video and digital campaigns.
Experience managing social media platforms for an organisation or business.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
A current Driver Licence.
A current Blue Card (or the ability to obtain one).

Location & Work Arrangement
This position is Toowoomba-based and offers the flexibility to work from home, combined with regular travel to KDFC service locations, events and community activities across the region.
To be successful in this role, applicants must reside in Toowoomba or the surrounding region, as regular on-site attendance is required for content capture, photography, videography, meetings and stakeholder engagement. A current driver's licence and access to reliable transport are essential.
